Screenshot API Integrations

RenderScreenshot integrations for CI pipelines, no-code tools and automation platforms, each tested end to end with a last-tested date.

By Simon Chiu · Updated

This section shows how to use RenderScreenshot from the tools you already run: CI pipelines, no-code automation platforms and workflow builders. Each integration page was tested end to end. It shows the date of the last test and, where the tool supports it, a file you can import.

How the integrations work

Every integration calls the same HTTP API. There is no plugin to install on our side. That gives you three patterns:

  • A direct request. The tool sends a GET request with query parameters and receives the image. This works in any tool that can make an HTTP request. See the GET endpoint.
  • An image URL. The tool puts a signed URL in an email, a chat message or a document. The image renders when someone opens it, and your secret key stays private.
  • A callback. The tool starts a capture and receives the result later through a webhook. Use this for long pages, PDFs and batch jobs.

How to choose

  • Code in a repository, for example screenshots on every deploy: use a CI integration.
  • No code, for example a screenshot of each new row in a spreadsheet: use an automation platform.
  • Your language, not a tool: see the SDKs and code examples.

You need an API key for every integration. Get a free API key. No credit card is needed.
